Job Description
- As we expand operations and upgrade our technology infrastructure, we are looking to hire a Project Technical Manager who will lead critical projects from conception to deployment by driving excellence, speed, and quality in execution.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of technical and infrastructure projects within the ISP ecosystem.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Network Engineers, Field Technicians, Vendors, and Contractors.
- Oversee vendor relationships, enforce SLAs, and ensure technical quality control and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations, Sales, and Engineering teams to align projects with business goals.
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management with clear KPIs and milestones.
- Champion process improvement initiatives and post-project evaluation reviews.
- Define scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables for network rollout, system upgrades, and technical installations.
- Track progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking technologies (e.g., GPON, FTTx, Metro Ethernet, Microwave, LTE, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, Prince2, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in ISP, telecommunications, or ICT environments.
- Proven track record of managing fiber optic deployment, wireless (radio) network rollout, or broadband infrastructure projects.
Salary
N550,000 – N600,000 / Month
