Employment Type: Full-TimeRole Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologist to join our radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies and collaborating with clinical teams to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves both clinical and supervisory responsibilities, and offers opportunities to work with advanced imaging technologies in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret diagnostic images including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound, and mammograms.Prepare and deliver accurate radiology reports to referring physicians.Provide expert guidance in image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, where applicable.Work closely with clinicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.Oversee the daily operations of the imaging suite and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.Supervise radiologic technologists and junior staff, offering training and support where necessary.Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and research activities.Ensure strict compliance with medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.Stay abreast of current trends and technological advancements in diagnostic imaging.Qualifications and Requirements:MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.Fellowship in Radiology (FWACP, FMCR, or equivalent).Full registration and current license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).Minimum of 35 years post-fellowship experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.Proven proficiency in a wide range of imaging modalities.Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills.Dedication to high standards of patient care and professional ethics.Preferred Skills and Attributes:Sub-specialty training in interventional radiology, pediatric imaging, or neuroradiology.Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).Passion for mentoring and training junior clinicians or radiographers.Strong team player with leadership potential.Benefits:Attractive and competitive salary package.Health insurance and pension scheme.Opportunities for local and international training and continuing medical education (CME).Access to modern diagnostic equipment and supportive infrastructure.Collaborative and multidisciplinary work environment.Generous leave entitlements and wellness support.How to Apply:Qualified candidates should send their CV and cover letter to:Subject Line: Application for Radiologist Abuja
