- Support establishment and management of nutrient omission trials for development of site-specific nutrients management tools.
- Contribute to soil sampling and data collection to support digital soil mapping in Northern Nigeria.
- Contribute to training of extension agents and farmers on climate-smart agriculture and ISFM.
- Ensure accurate data recording and maintain trial documentation for research
- Gather farmer feedback to refine research approaches and ensure adoption of recommended practices.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
RequirementsQUALIFICATION:BSc in Agronomy, Agricultural Science and other related courses. The ideal candidate must have minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.COMPETENCIES:The ideal candidate must:
- Be proficient in the use MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Possess excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
