Job description: Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve 100% of Nigeria’s P&L targets for the fiscal year.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the ocean freight segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, shipping lines, port authorities, and regulatory agencies.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the Nigeria sales team to deliver consistent and sustainable performance.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to the CEO.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Job-Related Skills
- Proven expertise in Core sales and operations within Nigeria.
- Deep understanding of the freight forwarding ecosystem and supply chain processes.
- Ability to manage high-value client accounts and complex contracts.
Experience and Qualification
- A minimum of 10 years’ hands-on experience in core sales, with a strong willingness to take on challenging responsibilities in freight forwarding sales.
- Previous experience in a senior sales leadership role is required.
- Demonstrated success in managing sales P&L and consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
