Job Title: Sales Manager
Locations: Abuja (FCT) & Plateau
Job Summary
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives, drive revenue growth, and expand market share.
- This role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who understands the agrifood and FMCG space, with strong leadership, relationship management, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed company revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, distribution channels, and partnerships.
- Oversee pricing strategies, negotiations, and contracts with key accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with broader business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and opportunities to senior management.
- Manage and grow relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and improve performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends, develop insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the agrifood, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful sales teams.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks within Nigeria and the West African region.
