- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in security engineering or information security roles.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security technologies.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response practices.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to manage security incidents effectively.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are desirable.
- Experience with security in cloud environments (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging security trends and threats relevant to the Nigerian technological environment.
