Senior Facilities Engineer in a Reputable Oil Exploration and Production Company


We are a reputable Oil Exploration and Production Company with active operatorship of prolific blocks and Oil and Gas Assets in the Niger Delta.

As a result of our new expansion and development programmes, we are seeking to engage experienced, passionate and resourceful candidates in the capacity below:

 

Job Title: Senior Facilities Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate must have Vast Knowledge of facilities practices and engineering.
  • Must also be competent in conceptual design, FEED and detailed engineering design, including the development/review of PFDs & P&IDs, facility revamps, optimization, debottlenecking of Crude Oil Processing Platforms/Flowstation, and Crude Oil Stabilization System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the design and development of production facilities from conception through implementation, including wellheads, flowlines, and pipelines, oil/water/gas separation, conditioning and processing facilities.
  • Develop, modify/review scope of work procedures/project execution plan in line with relevant specification and industry codes for job safety analysis such as HAZOP / HAZID and all related safety and precautionary issues.
  • Manage and supervise engineering design and installation of repair works on company projects.
  • Technical evaluation of RFQs, project schedule and participate in the commercial evaluation of projects.
  • Troubleshoot the process plant problems, suggest feasible short term and long term solution to problems.
  • Must not be more than 50 years of age.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering degree
  • A Master’s Degree in Engineering will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in an E&P company with a track record of engineering design/ operations of Oil & Gas facilities.
  • Result-oriented and committed to company goals.
  • Competent in conceptual design, FEED and detailed engineering design.
  • Manage and apply multiple concurrent field projects and work in a team environment.
  • Capable of providing commercial solutions that deliver optimum hydrocarbon value Chain.
  • Ability to prepare work schedules and comprehensive engineering designs to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Management and contractors.
