Job Title: Shift-in-Charge – PET Production (Engineer)

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Shift-in-Charge will oversee and manage daily PET preform production operations, including Injection and Blow Moulding.
  • The role is responsible for supervising shift teams, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate PET preform production activities (Injection & Blow Moulding) during assigned shifts.
  • Lead and manage manpower to ensure production goals are consistently met.
  • Enforce adherence to safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and performance among production staff.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and process optimisation.
  • Monitor production efficiency, quality, and output through routine checks and reporting.
  • Plan and oversee mould changes, preventive maintenance of machines, moulds, and utilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production breakdowns.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a shift-based system.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in PET Preform Injection and Blow Moulding operations.
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and machine handling.

Salary

N300,000 – N400,000 Monthly.
