- Sickle Cell and Thalassemia and Health Awareness Initiative,a non-profit sickle cell organization seeks a qualified Social Media Manager tomanage our social media platforms and serve as the public relations officer.
- The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase the organization’s awareness, engage audiences, and drive traffic to our platforms.
- You will manage all social media channels, create compelling content, analyze performance metrics, and stay updated on trends to ensure our social media presence aligns with our mission and objectives. You will be the public relations officer for the NGO.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development; Content Creation; Community and Campaign Management; Analytics and Reporting; Paid Advertising and Staying Updated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Other qualifications with relevant experience will be considered.
- Understanding of issues related to sickle cell disorders or impact of chronic health condition desired but not mandatory.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently and effectively in a challenging environment.
- Strongly preferred is someone who has worked on a not for profit, public health, or chronic health condition social media platforms.
- Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for engagement.
- Passion for social media and a desire to stay updated on related trends and innovations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
Salary
