We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Solvent Extraction Assistant Operator
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Purpose
- To optimally extract oil from Prepared soybean material with good quality and productivity.
The Job
- Periodically inspect the flowrate of Miscella and the hexane pump
- Cleaning the equipment and environment
- Assist in the routine maintenance of the plant
- Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of duty by adhering strictly to safety ethics of the company
- Periodically check the level of the full miscella compartment
- Records indicator reading test results from the quality control
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
- Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process
Qualifications and Experience
- OND in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of one year’s cognate experience
The Person Must:
- Have strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Have prior experience in industrial operations.
- Have safety training and technical knowledge.
- Have a strong understanding of chemical processes.
