We are seeking a sharp, smart, and hardworking Nurse to join a reputable healthcare facility located in Victoria Island, Lagos. The ideal candidate must be young and energetic, confident with handling HMOs, and flexible to work shifts. A high level of professionalism, compassion, and readiness to contribute to a dynamic clinical team is essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document clinical observations
- Coordinate and manage patient admission, treatment, and discharge processes
- Assist physicians during rounds, procedures, and examinations
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic and paper-based systems
- Liaise effectively with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) for patient verification, authorization, billing, and reporting
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication, and preventive care
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control policies
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure smooth continuity of care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing environment
- Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies
- Participate in clinical audits, trainings, and continuous quality improvement
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with current Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license
- Minimum of 2-4 years of post-NYSC experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic
- Good knowledge of HMO processes and healthcare insurance systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Smart, presentable, and emotionally intelligent
- Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in medical documentation and use of hospital software (e.g., EMR, HMO portals)
- Willingness to work rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Must be punctual, reliable, and willing to learn
