We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: State Coordinator (Women In Mechanized Agriculture)
Locations: Sokoto and Taraba
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Project Manager:
- Partaking as directed by the Project Manager, in the Planning, directing and coordinating of WIMA project to maximize the strategic use of business resources and maintain variable functions such as time and cost of completing assigned projects.
- Establishing, strengthening and developing solutions for WIMA with a focus on delivering excellence.
- Contributing to ensuring the sustenance of exceptionally high performance in the WIMA project.
Ensure that WIMA Project is properly curated and well managed by:
- Creating detailed work plan for the project.
- Ensure project budget are realistic for implementation
- Self-motivated, the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and improvement on the project.
- Project tracking and ensuring deadlines are set and met
- Ensuring project technicalities, specification is strictly adhered too,
Dimensions:
- Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic with capability to use initiative and intellectual capital to derive solutions
- Comfortable with working under pressure, to clear deadlines and focus on bottom-line
- Goal directed with excellent negotiating skills and high comfort levels in rapid and early closure
- Attention to detail, displays natural tact/discretion with imagination and drive
Operations and Control:
- In ALL WIMA project, and ancillary functions to take remedial action where necessary and to inform the Project Managertimeously of any significant changes.
- To contribute to the project implementation plans in order to ensure achievement of deliverables, forecasts, objectives and targets are met;
- To achieve Performance Targets set on projects from time to time by the Project Manager and also adhering to and ensuring all systems in place for monitoring projects / performance against plans and budgets.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 years work experience.
