- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven State Manager to lead high-performing sales professionals in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can keep our company competitive and innovative while maximizing the potential of our sector team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong merchant relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by successfully onboarding high-value merchants.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to onboard, manage, and nurture merchant relationships.
- Merchant Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term partnerships with merchants by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Performance Reporting & Forecasting: Present detailed sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with accurate market forecasts, to the line manager.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities to drive market penetration and business expansion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
- Experience in State Manager capacity is a huge plus and experience in a Fintech/Banking industry is key.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
