Job Title: Store Officer
Location: NASCON – HO
Job Summary
- Receiving and issuing of materials in the store, documentation and record keeping, racking of materials received.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive materials suppled by the vendors as per approved purchase order.
- Ensure smooth issuance of materials to the issuing department.
- Ensure accurate accounting of all the materials received and issued.
- Monthly stock count
- Maintain the neatness and tidiness of the store house.
- Compile reports on various aspects of changes in inventory.
- Ensure correctness in the quality, quantity, specification and condition of the materials received from vendor.
- Storing of materials received from vendor properly to ensure easy access identification, verification, and handling.
Qualifications / Experience
- HND/ B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in warehouse & store management.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
Competence Requirements:
- Good Accounting background and knowledge of banking transaction
- Excellent Reasoning and Decision-Making ability.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Good Negotiation skills
- Database Administration
- Planning and Organizing skills.
- Procurement Management and Supplier Management skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (oral and written)
- Managerial and Leadership skills
- Report writing and record keeping.
- Analysis and Interpretation of result
