Job Title: Store keeper
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials, tools, and equipment for accuracy, quality, and possible damages.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory storage standards.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel as needed.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock reports to the Site Manager.
- Collaborate with procurement and project teams to forecast material requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Verify delivery notes and purchase orders against received items.
- Report discrepancies or damages to the Site Supervisor and the Project Manager and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory, including stock levels and issued items.
- Organize and manage the storage area for easy access and efficient space utilization.
- Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / NCE in any relevant field.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software is an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a related role (preferably in construction or real estate).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Salary
N50,000 – N100,000 / month.
