Employment Type: Full-Time | Renewable Energy SectorEWI Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Engineering Manager to lead procurement activities across major renewable energy infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional with a strong background in solar PV and BESS systems, and a proven track record in EPC contract negotiation and supplier management.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EPC and OEM contract negotiations, securing favorable terms and mitigating project risks.
  • Provide technical engineering input to align procurement with project design and operational goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement processes including RfPs, purchase orders, import logistics, and local sourcing.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on contract terms, variations, and dispute resolution.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining quality and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and engineering processes.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • EPC contract compliance and supplier performance
  • Procurement cycle time and cost savings
  • Technical quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Supplier relationship effectiveness and process improvements

Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10 years of experience in procurement, EPC contract management, or supply chain leadership within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar PV and BESS systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex procurement processes across multiple geographies.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
