Job Title: Technical / Executive Assistant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly competent and versatile Technical Assistant to the CEO who will support the CEO in the strategic and operational management of cross-sector initiatives.
  • This role blends high-level executive support, technical project coordination, and regulatory/government affairs management.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, strategically inclined, and capable of navigating the complex regulatory environment that governs energy, fintech, and banking operations in Nigeria.
  • This is a high-impact role suited for someone looking to work closely with executive leadership, manage strategic priorities, and serve as a bridge between the CEO and key stakeholders—both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Strategy Support:

  • Support the CEO in the execution and tracking of strategic initiatives across all business units.
  • Prepare briefing documents, reports, whitepapers, and talking points for board meetings, investor engagements, media interviews, and public appearances.
  • Conduct sector-specific research and analysis to support business planning and investment decisions.
  • Attend internal and external meetings on behalf of the CEO and track action points to ensure follow-through.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for the implementation of CEO-directed projects.

Regulatory & Government Relations (Multi-Sector):

  • Act as the primary representative of the CEO for regulatory affairs and compliance activities across:
  • Support the CEO with regulatory advisory for expansion into new regions or launching new services/products.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with key regulators, public institutions, and policymakers.
  • Lead proactive engagement with regulators to address compliance concerns, inspections, or policy shifts.

Technical & Operational Coordination

  • Support internal project monitoring by tracking KPIs, timelines, and deliverables for CEO-priority projects.
  • Lead special research or due diligence efforts in support of mergers, acquisitions, or joint venture discussions.
  • Coordinate with the technical, legal, product, and compliance teams to prepare project reports, investment memos, or board documentation.

Internal & External Communication:

  • Draft internal communication from the CEO’s office to business units, project teams, and department heads.
  • Assist with public communication such as press releases, regulatory declarations, or stakeholder updates.
  • Represent the CEO in industry events, government meetings, and regulatory forums when required.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between the CEO’s office and department leads.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigeria’s regulatory ecosystem in energy, fintech, and banking sectors.
  • Previous experience working closely with C-suite executives or managing executive-level communications is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally across regulatory affairs, technical strategy, project coordination, or executive assitant roles.
