Job Title: Pipelay Barge Superintendent
Location: Rivers
Job Summary
- The Pipelay Barge Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to pipe laying operations conducted from a pipelay barge in offshore or nearshore environments.
Qualifications / Certifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering and Offshore/Subsea Engineering.
- 5+ years of offshore construction experience
- Should possess a strong background in: S-lay or J-lay pipeline installation, Subsea tie-ins and riser installations, Anchor patterns, DP systems (if applicable), and stinger control and Welding, NDT, coating, and field jointing techniques. IMCA Competence Scheme Certifications needed
