Job Title: Trailer Driver, FMCG (Coca-Cola)

Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced Trailer Driver to transport Coca-Cola products safely and efficiently across Nigeria.
- The ideal candidate must hold a valid Class G driver’s license, possess strong knowledge of road safety regulations, and demonstrate professionalism in handling goods and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive company trailers for the safe delivery of Coca-Cola products to designated warehouses, distributors, and retail outlets.
- Inspect vehicles daily before trips to ensure roadworthiness, proper documentation, and compliance with company safety standards.
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to the fleet supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to delivery schedules while prioritizing safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks such as oil, water, and tire inspections.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, customers, and security agencies.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products to prevent damage, pilferage, or loss.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, waybills, and logbooks as required.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, federal/state road regulations, and company driving policies.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class G driver’s license issued in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving heavy-duty trailers/trucks (preferably FMCG or beverage distribution).
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle repairs or emergencies.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of long driving hours.
- Must have integrity, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian road networks, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Ability to complete long-distance hauls with alertness and discipline.
- Proven track record of safe driving with minimal accident history.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in FMCG logistics (beverage or food distribution).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, drug testing, and periodic driving assessments.
