Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Shadow senior sales executives during meetings and presentations to learn sales techniques.
- Support in preparing and submitting quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
- Follow up with clients for feedback, orders, and payment collections.
- Maintain and update CRM systems and customer records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support overall sales and customer service efforts.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build product knowledge and sales capability.
- Gradually take on responsibility for individual sales targets as experience grows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field (for decorative), chemistry, paint technology, or chemical engineering (for PC/marine).
- Strong interest in building a sales career in the coatings or construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and self-driven.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel and work in a client-facing role.
