Job Title: Veterinary Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The veterinary technician will provide exceptional delivery of premium service to pets: bathing, grooming and ensuring thorough cleaning of dog’s kennels, clinic, admission rooms, boarding rooms and the general premises of the organization.
Job Description
- Conduct grooming which includes: bath, ear & anal gland cleaning, nail clipping, fur brushing and hair cut for pets.
- Providing assistance to doctors as required in cases of restraint, drug administration and general cleaning.
- Identify and communicate any pet health issue to the medical department and client.
- Recommending grooming techniques/products to client.
- Ensure all working equipment’s are thoroughly cleaned and sterilized after use.
- Overseeing de-matting and detangling dogs as required.
- Prepare, observe, monitor and feed dogs on boarding.
Job Requirements
- OND/SSCE qualification.
- Must be comfortable with pets.
- Ability to drive is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to details
Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 Monthly.
