Job Title: Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Responsibilities
- Supervise all warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound and outbound movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Develop and enforce procedures for inventory control, ensuring adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles and traceability standards.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts, overstocking, or expiry-related losses.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, route planning, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-efficient distribution.
- Prepare and present weekly reports on stock movement, inventory accuracy, dispatch performance, and logistics KPIs.
- Lead and manage warehouse personnel, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and enforcing safety and hygiene practices.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance to ensure operational alignment and timely order fulfillment.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, losses, or delivery issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor the condition and maintenance of warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
- Support audit activities and ensure completeness of logistics and warehouse records for traceability and accountability.
- Oversee stock counting exercises (cycle counts, monthly/quarterly physical counts) and ensure timely reconciliation with system records.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, picking efficiency, space utilization, and order turnaround time.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Professional certification in logistics or warehousing (e.g., CILT, APICS) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, ERP/WMS software, and logistics planning.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant logistics software.
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in a similar warehouse/logistics role, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
