We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Warehouse Clerk (Fleet)
Location: Ota, Ogun
Reports To: Business Developers
Job Summary
- The main purpose is to receive and issue motor vehicle spare parts (system and physical) to NBC plants by raising of GI slip for management of vehicle or refurbishment.
Responsibilities
- Effective issuance of motor vehicle spare parts to various NBC plants and depots.
- Receiving of motor vehicle spare parts or consumables goods from vendors.
- Arrangement of all received spare parts to their various location and racks after proper verification.
- Monitoring of GIT & PID to avert audit exposures.
- Maintaining good manufacturing practices and good housekeeping.
- Effective documentation procedures.
- Stock count balancing.
- Bincards records and update.
- Raising of manual waybill where necessary.
- Posting of all motor vehicle spares from one location to the other on the system
- Management/arrangement of obsolete spares from different plants/depots to central store.
- Physical inventory count (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly).
Requirements
Is this you?
- HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics and other related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Warehouse personnel
- Good knowledge of auto parts
- Good analytical skills
- Good numerate skills
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good learning skills.
- Possess a working knowledge of Warehouse Management.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Especially Microsoft Excel)
- Good attention to details
- Good organizational skills
- Good inventory and control skills
