- We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within our warehouse operations.
- This key leadership role involves managing people, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met, inventory is accurate, and warehouse operations align with company and safety standards.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on professional with a solid background in supply chain and warehouse management. You will lead a team comprising supervisors, forklift operators, and pickers/packers while ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and staff performance.
- Oversee accurate inventory management and stock control.
- Enforce health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Track and improve key warehouse performance indicators.
- Manage warehouse budgets, cost-efficiency strategies, and expenditure tracking.
- Respond to customer and supplier inquiries related to warehousing and logistics.
- Oversee and manage truck drivers’ schedules, documentation, and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of driver licenses, vehicle documents, and safety compliance.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
- Train, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel.
- Optimize warehouse layout and ensure effective storage systems.
- Implement a system for issuing, recording, and tracking fuel or delivery coupons.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and dispatch
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reviews.
Requirements
