- The Zonal Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing Area Managers and medical representatives, and driving growth within the assigned region.
- The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in managing OTC and ethical product sales across hospitals and institutions, with strong leadership, strategic planning, and territory knowledge across the South West region of Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of sales strategies to achieve zonal targets and company objectives.
- Supervise Area Managers and a team of Sales/Medical Representatives across multiple states.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Generate timely sales reports and provide insights to the senior management team.
- Monitor and support team performance through coaching, field visits, and reviews.
- Develop strong business relationships with key healthcare providers, institutions, and distributors.
- Coordinate zonal marketing and promotional activities to boost product visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong background in OTC/Ethical products.
- Proven success in supervising sales teams and achieving revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of hospitals, institutions, and distribution networks within Oyo, Kwara, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, and Ondo States.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required within the zone.
