About the Role

You will support tasks within the COMET contract. Your work will focus on supportability, life cycle needs and assessment of equipment. You will help review parts, identify needs and ensure systems can be maintained through their full use.

Key tasks include.

• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Use Excel to support analysis and reporting.
• Complete logistics support analysis and heritage reviews.
• Build parts lists and review strategies for new parts and equipment.
• Identify maintenance items and recommend spares.
• Set up min and max levels for inventory.
• Complete make or buy reviews.
• Review shelf life needs and identify consumables, chemicals and HAZMAT items.
• Check for required training support.
• Confirm the existence of operation and maintenance instructions.
• Review transport needs for new parts.
• Support internal and external customers.
• Support parts life cycle tasks and help track obsolescence.
• Complete other tasks as needed.

Requirements

This role needs someone with strong attention to detail and a clear, steady work style.

• BS in engineering or related technical field.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and platforms.
• Ability to work in tight spaces.
• Ability to work while standing or sitting for long periods.

• Ability to work eight hour shifts, five days a week.

Work Environment
