About the Job
- The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for the company’s products.
- This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to create reliable forecasts that drive efficient inventory management, production planning, and overall supply chain optimization.
- The Demand Planner will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasts with business objectives and ensure timely product availability.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Experience with forecasting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
