CCETC Ogua Energy Limited (COEL) is a proudly independent power producer principally engaged in the business of developing power plants from the Engineering, Procurement & Construction stage, through the actual project execution, management, supervision to the operation and maintenance regime.
In Nigeria, we have 40MW installed in Sagamu, 12MW installed in Lekki Free Zone, 55MW in Ossiomo in Edo state, 14MW Rongtai Lagos Benin bypass and also 21MW in WEMPCO at Magboro. In those places mentioned, are our generating plants in Nigeria.

Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Lagos

Job Description
- Ensure the effective running of day-to-day activities of the Accounts/finance department
- Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems
- Managing the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and all statutory financial reporting.
- Ensure that financial reports comply with the International Financial reporting standard (IFRS)
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the organization to make critical business decisions
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.
- Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Managing and tracking budget and performance review
- Reviewing all formal finance policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with regulatory and statutory bodies, i.e. OGIR ,LIRS, FIRS, etc.
- Keeping abreast of new development in reporting, tax and other regulatory requirement to ensure compliance.
- Review and monitoring of operation expenses.
- Presentation of financial results and insights
- Handling tax matters, tax planning and other regulatory compliance
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards
- Managing and overseeing the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements
Role.
- Must Have worked in Audit firm with sound knowledge of final accounts preparation and
- Tax management.
Qualifications
- BSc Degree / HND in Accounting or Accountancy(Major)
- Minimum of Second-class, upper division(2.1) /Upper Credit
- Professional qualification: Must be an Associate Member(ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN)
- Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with a minimum of 5 years in a similar
Skills and Attribute:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office( word, excel, PowerPoint) accounting software packages and Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) systems.
- Must be conversant with relevant tax laws and principles
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Passionate about work and willing to learn
- Must not be more than 50 years of age.
- Experience in capital financing(forex) sourcing and management
- Experience in power/energy/oil and gas industry is essential
- Good knowledge of treasury functions, forex management, letter of credit is required
- Must be conversant with domestic and international accounting reporting requirement
