Adexen is seeking an experienced Plant Manager (Aerosol Production). Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing sector, is establishing a state-of-the-art aerosol production plant in Lagos, Nigeria.ResponsibilitiesAs Plant Manager, you will commission and oversee the entire plant’s operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, optimizing production processes, and managing a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the aerosol manufacturing industry.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and product quality.
- Implement and manage production schedules, optimizing resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to international quality and safety standards (ISO, GMP).
- Recruit, train, and manage plant personnel, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Monitor expenses, reduce waste, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 5+ years in a plant leadership role.
