We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • We’re looking for a talented Video Editor to join our fully remote creative team. In this role, you’ll turn raw footage into engaging stories from social media edits to full-length brand videos.
  • You’ll work closely with our Creative Lead and Marketing Strategists to bring ideas to life and ensure every project delivers on both creativity and client goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into finished content for YouTube, Instagram, ads, and branded campaigns
  • Manage video assets, organize files, and deliver high-quality exports on time
  • Work with feedback loops and revisions quickly and professionally
  • Adapt videos to different aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) and platform-specific needs
  • Open to feedback and collaborative workflows.
  • Create visually compelling stories with smooth transitions, music syncing, and sound design
  • Integrate text animations, motion graphics, and branded elements
  • Collaborate with project managers and the creative team to meet editing goals

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
  • Good at color grading
  • Strong attention to visual and audio detail
  • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Google Drive, Notion, or Asana.
  • Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and narrative editing
  • Ability to sync B-roll, voiceovers, music, and SFX smoothly

Soft Skills:

  • Clear communication in a remote work setting
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage deadlines independently
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for visual aesthetics.
